Sept 10 – Today was a nice day of rest in the beautiful city of Pamplona. Slept well in my hotel room and was well fed. Did a little exploring today. Mostly just relaxed and took in the people, scenes and food around me.

Pamplona is a big city and one of the larger cities along the Camino. When it’s not siesta, the streets, bars, and stores are bustling with people. Then at promptly 3pm, everything closes until 7pm for siesta. So when in Pamplona, take a siesta! 🙂

My thoughts: not a lot to write today. Just relaxing and enjoying the day. I’m feeling good. Some of my buddies I walked with are texting me with photos and info up ahead, so that’s been fun. My legs are a bit stiff, so I’ve been stretching them, but other than that, feeling good and glad I took a rest day.
The walk tomorrow is 27km with the destination being Puente La Reina. I hear there is a tough uphill climb. I’ve actually been to the peak before (in 2018) and walked down it, but have to get there first! 🙂
